John McDonnell founded Earth Day as we know it in 1970. April 22nd is the most recognized date for Earth Day, while some people still choose to celebrate Earth Day on the first day of Sping. Earth Day is intended to make us aware of how we influence resources from our planet. There are many activities, campaigns, and events scheduled on this day to promote awareness of Earth's issues. Earth Day, celebrated on April 22nd, is intended to inspire awareness of and appreciation for the Earth's environment.

Enjoy this Earth Day free themed party game...  AROUND THE EARTH: Have your guests sit in a circle and pretend they are sitting aorund the Earth.  The first player whispers a phrase to the 2nd player.  The 2nd player has to whisper that phrase to the 3rd and so on. When the last person hears the phrase, they stand up and say the phrase out loud.  Usually by the time the phrase travels "around the Earth" the phrase is completely different.  Have fun along with the guests at the Earth Day party!
