Teach children about the Hawaiian culture by hosting a Hawaiian party with Hawaiian Party Supplies. Take the opportunity in your classroom to expand the children’s horizons by exposing them to the Hawaiian culture. Use a map or a globe to show the children where Hawaii is. Provide books, movies, and the Internet for the children to learn more about the culture. As a finale, have a Hawaiian party where each of the children can bring some Hawaiian food or a Hawaiian game. As a craft, provide construction paper, glue, sparkles, moveable eyes, and have the children make fish of all colours.
A Hawaiian party or Luau was traditionally an elaborate feast eaten on the floor without utensils, only fingers. Today a Hawaiian party does not have to be on the floor and utensils are perfectly acceptable but old traditions can also be fun to try.
