Contact your local wildlife sanctuary or zoo to see if they would be able to host a Madagascar themed birthday party for your child; it may just be a huge time and money saver ( because most of the Madagascar Party Supplies would already be provided for you), while teaching your child and his or her friends more about the geography and history of the area. If the zoo or sanctuary hasn't heard of the movie, shed some light with some information garnered from online, and let them know the main characters (a hippo, zebra, giraffe and lion) are the focus of the story. Find out if decorations, a tour, food or goodie bags are included. If not, create your own using jungle print fabrics, animal inspired foods (like dirt cake or piggies in a blanket), and plastic animals indigenous to Madagascar.
