Veterans Day, which was formerly Armistice Day, is a day Americans can remember the sacrifices men and women have made over the years to ensure lasting peace.  Veterans Day is a good day to share with your family and remember friends and family in the armed forces by taking flowers to the cemetery.   Children can participate on Veterans Day by observing a moment of silence with their family to remember those who have fallen in battle over the years. Veterans Day is a special time to honor the memory of our fallen heroes and our current troops.

Enjoy this Veterans Day free themed party game...  WHO IS HE (SHE)? After all the guest have arrived, hand out envelopes. The boys are given blue envelopes, the girls white ones. In all the envelopes, there are halves of the cards and a note with the following text: "In the envelope there is a half of the card. Try using cards with the pictures of flowers in this game. Cut the cards in a zigzag line. The missing part of it has someone who is present here. Try to find him/her. The first 3 pairs get prizes.  Have fun along with the guests at the Veterans Day party!
